Free from marketing, free from bureaucracy with a single objective – to share results, to inform and to encourage meteor science!
Meteor News relies on funding from sponsors. Each year we create funding round with a set amount to raise to pay for hosting related costs for another year.
Latest fundraising round for 2020 had a set target of £400 and reached this goal in 140 days. Richard Kacerek manages our PayPal pool (rickzkm@gmail.com), and the funds converted to $ and used to top up our Digital Ocean hosting account and renew our domain name.
This time we are using Meteor News JustGiving page for your convenience. All raised funds are used for website running costs.
